MEDICIA is a Singapore-based health-tech company leveraging AI to transform oncology research and improve patient journeys. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing team and contribute to building high-quality, real-world evidence platforms.
Support data quality assessments across clinical domains using tools such as Achilles and the OMOP Data Quality Dashboard, helping to produce clear reports for engineering and clinical teams.
Assist in developing and maintaining data quality checks using SQL (and Pytest where applicable) at both ingestion and post-ETL stages.
Support the validation of OMOP CDM implementations in Azure, ensuring clinical data is correctly transformed and mapped.
Provide backend data support, working closely with engineering teams to translate basic clinical data requirements into technical tasks.
Contribute to research and analytics activities, including cohort building, basic statistical analysis, and supporting machine learning projects using Python or R.
Yêu cầu
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Postgraduate qualification (MSc) is a plus, but not required.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data science, preferably within healthcare or clinical data.
Exposure to RWE, EHR, or clinical datasets is an advantage, not mandatory.
Good working knowledge of SQL for data querying and transformation.
Basic experience or familiarity with data quality testing or data validation (Pytest experience is a plus, not required).
Familiarity with the OMOP Common Data Model or willingness to learn.
Exposure to tools like Achilles or the Data Quality Dashboard is a plus.
Some experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but not mandatory) or data pipelines.
Solid understanding of basic statistics and data analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate results.
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
Exposure to machine learning is a plus, but not required.
Strong written English communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured technical reports, data quality assessments, and usability testing documentation.
