Denim R&D Designer (Men's / Women's Denim)

Job Purpose
Lead seasonal denim design development from concept to approved sample, and propose original R&D items that win new programs and new buyers.
Job Description
1. Trend research & concept
- Research global denim trend (market, runway, vintage archive, SNS) and build seasonal concept board, color/silhouette/detail direction.
- Prepare seasonal R&D collection and presentation material for buyer meetings.
2. Design & tech pack
- Create denim sketch (flat drawing) and complete tech pack: POM, construction, stitching, pocket/back pocket design, hardware, label/patch/tag artwork.
- Prepare CAD / 3D simulation (CLO 3D, Browzwear) for fit and volume review.
3. Development & sample follow-up
- Work with pattern room and sample room on silhouette, fit and detail correction; join fit session and write comment after each fitting.
- Select fabric with R&D Fabric part and set wash direction with Washing part; review wash result and confirm final look (shade, hand feel, 3D effect).
4. Buyer & internal communication
- Handle buyer's design comment and revision until sample approval.
- Share design intention clearly with merchandising, technical and factory team, and keep development calendar (TNA) on schedule.
5. Archive management
- Build and maintain denim archive/vintage library, seasonal design database and detail (trim, wash, stitch) reference for reuse.
