We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Engineering to lead our diverse and talented teams at a confidential company located in Ho Chi Minh City. The Deputy Head of Engineering will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Tech, Product, IT, and Data teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Lead and manage the Tech team, including frontend, backend, full-stack
developers, and Quality Control (QC) of development processes.
2. Oversee the Product team, including
Product Owners, UI/UX
designers, and other product development professionals.
3. Manage the IT team responsible for IT systems, helpdesk support, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and infrastructure maintenance.
4. Direct the Data team, overseeing Business Intelligence (BI) analysts, data engineers, and other data-related roles.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute engineering strategies and roadmaps.
6. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes and practices.
7. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services that meet business objectives.
8. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the engineering organization.
9. Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive product development and innovation.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and product roadmap.
11. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.
12. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
13. Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting for the engineering department.
14. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.
