For this Director of Applied AI and Innovation role, you will be in Finance Transformation Box, providing technical leadership and enterprise‐scale delivery of applied AI and emerging technologies to accelerate AI adoption, boost productivity and automation, and unlock new capabilities for our "Finance AI First" concept.
Technical leadership and enterprise‐ scale delivery of applied AI and emerging technologies to accelerate AI adoption, boost productivity and automation, and unlock new capabilities across the bank and ecosystem.
Setting AI strategy, target architecture, and governance, embedding Responsible AI (explainability, fairness, privacy, security), and industrializing AI through robust platforms (DBx, Microsoft 365/Copilot) and disciplined change management.
Providing expert guidance on use‐case creation, prioritization, solution design, and end‐ to‐ end value realization, with measurable impact.

Key Accountabilities (2) - Stakeholder Leadership, and Capability Building
People leadership & capability building: Build and lead a high‐performing Applied AI team; design and deliver training for cross divisions; establish a community of practice and career pathways.
Change management & adoption: Ensure AI solutions are embedded in processes, controls, and systems (core banking, ERP, channels, contact center); deliver playbooks, SOPs, and training to drive sustained adoption and accountability.
Other duties: Perform other specialized or demanding tasks in Applied AI & Innovation as assigned by the Head of (e.g., Data, Technology, or Digital), including cross‐functional transformation programs.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- A Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in Finance or Data/ Technology.
10+ years in transformation / process re‐engineering / technology‐enabled change (financial services preferred).
5+ years in leadership roles managing senior professionals or project/program managers.
Hands‐on delivery experience in at least one of: NLP, computer vision, or Generative AI (incl. prompting and evaluation); exposure to agentic workflows or RAG.
Strong performance & benefits management: OKRs/MBR/QBR cadence; baselining and value realization.
Track record of driving adoption of analytics/AI from pilot to scaled production.
Change management leadership and continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python (and/or Databricks/DBx).
Knowledge of MLOps/GenAI Ops (model/prompt CI/CD, registries, monitoring, rollback).
Cloud & CI/CD familiarity - Azure preferred (AWS/GCP acceptable); Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions or equivalent.
Excellent communication in English and Vietnamese, tailored to executive and technical audiences.
Vendor & contract management for LLMs, vector databases, safety/guardrail stacks.
Experience with Microsoft 365/Copilot adoption at scale (policies, governance, usage analytics).
Program/portfolio management across multiple squads/platforms; OKR/benefits dashboarding.
Exposure to Azure ML, MLflow, vector DBs (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), prompt management, and GenAI evaluation frameworks.
Certifications: Azure AI‐102, DP‐203, AZ‐305 (or equivalent).
Prosci/ADKAR (change), or FRM/PRM exposure to model risk (advantageous).
