Overview:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's dining operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service. This individual ensures the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences, operational efficiency, and revenue growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all areas.
Monitor and manage inventory, procurement, and cost control to maximize profitability.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage operations.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and manage the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Lead pre-service meetings to communicate daily priorities and ensure team readiness.
Promote professional development and career growth opportunities for team members.
3. Guest Experience:
Create and maintain exceptional guest experiences across all dining outlets and services.
Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus that align with the hotel's brand and guest preferences.
Ensure all guest-facing services reflect luxury and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive food and beverage experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role at a luxury property.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven track record of managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving revenue.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
