We are looking for an Assistant Manager who is interested in Retail industry and Innovation, the Department focus on business acceleration and transformation through innovation, data driven insights, technologies and partnerships related to products within the company portfolio, as well as grow new opportunities to proof of concept. The candidate will execute and support company new innovation Ideas, Projects to enhance customer experiences.
1 - Research
• Support the Head of Innovation to define strategic focus areas that align with business goals.
• Identify new technology, product trend from global, domestic market and come up with action plans
• Define Innovation projects and current issues including analysis of business situation, identification of key opportunities to enhance customer experiences and company competitive advantages.
• Maintain keen awareness of competitor movements and activities.
• Identify opportunity and come up with action plans via thorough competitors and market analysis on regular basis (including roadshow, pop up, exclusivities)
• Lead efforts on customer, competitive and market place intelligence compilation including sourcing research agency partners, translation of market insight into action plans and cascading across departments
2 - Communication
• Communicate across all levels of the organization as needed: ensure the Head of Department and Managers are receiving appropriate related information in a timely manner so that decisions can be made.
• Effectively communicate company overall Innovation projects and ensure project teams have clear goals and objectives which remain focused on the customer experience, increasing productivity and the product through their relationship with the Merchant Manager. Review performance on a regular basis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic/potential partners from global, domestic market.
3 - Project Implement
• Participate in Innovation projects and develop initial concepts/product solutions.
• Prepare and execute approved store innovation projects that achieve or exceed customer penetration, spend targets and grow market share.
• Manage innovation projects in a timely and cost-effective manner; define and document project details.
• Responsible to track all Innovation projects then send to Head of Department and Manager for review on a weekly basis.
• Lead cross function teams to meet launch objectives and deploy action plans across Division or team for respective project.

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience;
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Have ability to convey complex information, ideas and concepts clearly and efficiently to a variety of different audiences;
• Ability to analyze retail trends and insights;
• Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development;
• Critical thinking, analytical skill and Complexity management;
• Ability to work in an environment where change is a constant, employees are diverse and demanding and priorities are frequently changing;
• Open-minded, innovative and result-oriented;
• Strong evidence of leadership skills; ability to shape team and group priorities to reflect the organisation's vision and values;
