We are looking for IDLE CARGO CONTROLLER in IMPORT team at CMA CGM Vietnam.
THE
ROLE
Control and monitor the long idle stock at Viet Nam.
Support teammates to follow up the idle
cargo among parties of Port Authority, Head office and Agents
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for monitoring and handling
issues of long idle import-export shipments:
+ Send idle notifications to customers
+ Support customers in the procedure, discounts
on charges to enforce, and encourage customers to clear cargo.
+ Handle manifest amendments for import
shipments
+ Coordinate with vendors to handle re-export
- Handle claims for cargo loss and damage:
+ Send notification of incidents to Claim Team
regarding cargo loss and damage's issues
+ Send a formal notice and consult customers
about claim procedure
+ Appoint a surveyor as instruction from the
claims team
+ Collect documents to support the investigation
+ Check surveyor's invoices prior to payment.
+ Keep CMA CGM Head Office informed of all the further
developments
- Continuously update Customs regulations and
news
- Improve quality provided for customers through
analyzing and alerting idle status, potential risk, and trend of long idle
business.
- Update daily/monthly reports to local
management and Head Office
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education:
College/ Bachelor degree; major in Sea Transportation, Export- Import,
International Business, Foreign Trade, International Business,...
- Experiences:
Fresh graduate or 1 year working experience in a shipping company
- Personalities:
Patient, Courteous, Persuasive,
Customer Service mindset, Proactive.
- Skills:
Problem Solving, Excellent Communication
- Language:
Good
English communication-
Computer: an intermediate level of MS Office.
