Head of Legal Compliance

Our client is one of the leading FMCG groups in the world today who is searching qualified talent to join their company:
Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
Responsible for all legal and compliance concerns affecting all legal entities in Vietnam, including controlled joint ventures, as well as the achievement of strategic legal and compliance objectives
Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Ensure that the Group Legal and Compliance strategy is incorporated into the deliverables and that they are consistent with the strategy.
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
Requirements
BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field
At least 8+ years of work experience
Proven track record of relevant legal experience, including within company law and contract law, within several compliance areas (competition law, data protection, ABC and trade sanctions) and with dispute resolution
In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
Fluent in English
