2. Role Overview
As the Lead Data Analyst, you will lead the company's analytics strategy across our game portfolio and play a critical role in driving product decisions through data.
Working closely with Product Managers, Game Designers, User Acquisition, Monetization, and Engineering teams, you will transform player behavior and business data into actionable insights that improve player experience, engagement, retention, and revenue.
In addition to hands-on analytics, you will establish analytics best practices, mentor the analytics team, and foster a strong data-driven culture across the organization.
3. Responsibilities
- Define and drive the company's analytics strategy aligned with product and business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Data Analytics team.
- Partner closely with Product, Game Design, Monetization, UA, and Engineering teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Design, maintain, and improve dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting systems across all game titles.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives and evaluate feature performance using statistical methodologies.
- Analyze player behavior, retention, engagement, monetization, LiveOps performance, and game economy.
- Identify growth opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure high-quality event tracking and scalable analytics infrastructure.
- Promote data literacy across the company by helping stakeholders understand metrics, insights, and analytical best practices.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring an analytics team.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Metabase, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation methodologies, and A/B testing.
- Experience analyzing player behavior, retention, monetization, game economy, LiveOps performance, and product KPIs.
- Ability to define KPIs, build reporting frameworks, and deliver actionable insights to support product decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex business challenges into practical recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Game Design, Engineering, UA, and Monetization teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to communicate the business impact of data.
Nice to Have
- Experience in mobile gaming or free-to-play games.
- Familiarity with Firebase, GameAnalytics, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
- Knowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, or player segmentation.
- Experience analyzing game economy and monetization strategies.
