1. Operations Management
Supervise trucking, warehousing, and depot operations for both domestic and international shipments.
Ensure on-time delivery performance and high service reliability.
Manage vendors, carriers, and subcontractors, including negotiation and performance evaluation.
Control operational costs, fuel usage, and vendor quotations.
2. Customer Service & Commercial
Lead CS team handling export/import shipments, NVOCC coordination, and depot management.
Ensure customer inquiries, bookings, and quotations are handled promptly and accurately.
Develop SOPs for key accounts (e.g., Hyosung, major chemical customers).
Monitor and improve customer satisfaction, handling escalations when required.
3. Team Leadership
Manage and coach Logistics Specialists, CS Executives, and Operations staff.
Allocate workload and monitor team KPIs (on-time delivery, accuracy of ELSA input, SOA timeliness).
Provide training and mentoring for staff development.
4. Strategy &
Business DevelopmentSupport management in developing new services (chemical logistics, ISO tank, NVOCC, depot).
Drive efficiency projects (digitalization, TMS integration, process improvement).
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
Represent the company in negotiations with key vendors and customers.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
At least 7-10 years in logistics/forwarding operations or customer service.
Minimum 3-5 years in supervisory or managerial role in trucking, forwarding, or NVOCC operations.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Vietnam logistics market and international shipping.
Familiarity with chemical logistics, ISO tank handling, or container operations is a plus.
Skills:
Leadership & people management.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
English proficiency (speaking & writing).
Proficiency in logistics systems (ERP/TMS/ELSA or similar).
