Officer - Domestic Trucking Operations (Command Center - Export)

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for Truck Planning for Trucking and Distribution Operation. This candidate must have knowledge or eagle to learn on system and technology. This candidate needs also to have systemized thinking and logical mindset.
The primary responsibility is to ensure that Land is providing the best solutions on the Trucking and Transportation service to the customer, optimize the truck utilization and minimize cost and time of truck operation. The candidate is expected to support the Operation Team to achieve and maintain the committed KPI. The candidate has to drive the team to ensure high-performance and excellent quality service is being delivered to the customer.
The secondary responsibility is to support the Manager to suggest fresh ideas to lower cost, increase margin and improve the service level.
Transportation Planning
• Leverage on technology to develop, compare, connect and calculate the best solutions on truck planning and return trips.
• Manage, control and follow the routine, locations of each truck, follow progress of the shipment during operations. Settle issues happened during operation.
• Manage vendors to get the MT containers to catch the SI cut off.
• Ensure the Full Containers will be trucked out on time to avoid DEM/DET.
Customs Clearance:
• Work closely with OEM and vendors to ensure customs clearance done on time
• Solve the customs issue together with OEM/Vendors if occurred
Process Improvement
• Contribute to defining and optimizing productivity and efficiency parameters and workflow processes.
HSSE
• Ensure that HSSE guidance is followed by subcontractors and staff
• Understand the HSSE policy of the company
• Follow the HSSE policy of the company
• Report near misses to Manager / Supervisor
