Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Procurement Management: Procure all mechanical, electrical, chemical materials, and equipment for the ACVN Plant, ensuring that they are acquired and delivered on time, within budget, and according to required specifications and quality standards.
• Bidder Selection and Evaluation: Ensure proper selection of bidders, issue bid documents on time, evaluate bids, and make recommendations for approval.
• Coordination and Documentation: Prepare and coordinate with user departments and legal officials to prepare and review Invitation to Bid (ITB), tender documents, contract terms and conditions, scope of work, technical specifications, and finalize contracts.
• Material Availability: Ensure the availability of materials and equipment that meet the schedule, budget, specification, and quality requirements as per user needs.
• Efficient Procurement: Handle procurement and contracting tasks efficiently, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-value deals that align with company policies and integrity standards.
• Source New Suppliers: Identify new, competitive, and alternative sources of supply for materials, equipment, and services.
• Supplier Database Setup: Set up and maintain a supplier database for critical materials and chemicals.
Yêu cầu
• Education: University degree or its equivalent.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve acceptable outcomes that benefit relevant parties.
• Supervisory Skills: Ability to monitor staff work in terms of quality, time schedules, and cost management.
• Commercial Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial terms and logistics (delivery terms, customs protocol, freight forwarding).
• Tax Knowledge: Basic understanding of tax regulations and updates.
• Teamwork: Strong coordination skills, collaborating effectively with both internal and cross-department teams.
• Work Ethic: Always willing to contribute when needed, responding quickly to tasks and requests.
• Learning and Development: Eager to expand knowledge and gain experience in different departments, particularly in planning.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement (preferably in a similar field) is an advantage.
• System Knowledge: Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems is an advantage.
