Lead and manage procurement and pricing activities for ocean and air freight services across the Vietnam (VN) region, covering SEA/AIR, including FCL and LCL products.
Develop, negotiate, and maintain strategic partnerships with shipping lines, co-loaders, and service providers, ensuring competitive rates, service reliability, and commercial sustainability.
Own and execute procurement and pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, volume forecasts, and market conditions.
Manage carrier and service contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed pricing, volume commitments, validity periods, and service levels.
Monitor freight market trends, carrier capacity, rate movements, and trade lane performance to support effective pricing decisions and cost control.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Regional Teams) to understand business requirements and provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing support.
Ensure consistency and alignment of procurement practices across VN offices by implementing standardized processes, guidelines, and best practices.
Support sales and operations by resolving pricing discrepancies, carrier performance issues, and procurement-related escalations efficiently.
Maintain accurate procurement and pricing data in company systems, ensuring data integrity, transparency, and reporting accuracy.
Contribute to regional and global procurement initiatives, supporting continuous improvement of the company's commercial competitiveness and profitability.
Support team development through coaching, knowledge sharing, and performance guidance where applicable.
Yêu cầu
Education & Professional Background
• Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of ocean freight operations, pricing structures, and international trade practices.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping line, or ocean freight procurement/pricing roles.
• Hands-on experience covering both FCL and LCL procurement and pricing.
• Regional coordination or leadership exposure is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
Skills & Knowledge
• Familiar with freight forwarding systems (e.g. CargoWise) and MS Office.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable pricing strategies.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
• High level of accountability and professionalism.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
