Project Planning Engineer

The Project Planning Engineer will play a vital role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project schedules within Alstom. This position requires an analytical and proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using appropriate project management tools and software.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather project requirements and define project scope.
• Identify critical path activities and analyze constraints that may impact project timelines.
2. Monitoring and Reporting:
• Track project progress and performance against established schedules and milestones.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting any potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor risks and opportunities and advise on mitigation strategies.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and dependencies.
• Facilitate planning meetings and workshops to promote a collaborative approach to project planning.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
