Quality Manager - Chemical

tThis position is designed to focus on building and developing technical expertise in Chemical products, with the aim of preparing for higher level role in the future. It does not include direct team management during the development phase. Core leadership competencies will still be integrated and reflected in parallel with technical development.
Description
* Analyze production and product quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Conduct root-cause analysis and problem-solving to determine corrective actions.
* Develop and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with the procurement team to define quality standards for incoming materials.
* Organize trials for new materials at both lab and industrial scales to support decision-making.
* Participate in the design phase of product development projects.
* Engage with customers to gather feedback and identify opportunities for quality enhancement.
* Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and performance attributes.
* Work with manufacturing and HR teams to develop a succession plan for the QA function.
* Share technical expertise and best practices in process and quality control with the QA team.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Knowledge in Chemical manufacturing, process and quality control, quality management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 17025.
* Knowledge and experiences of QA employees are built up for present and anticipated tasks.
* Solid understanding of production processes, quality control methodologies, and laboratory testing procedures.
* Experience with root-cause analysis, statistical process control, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
* Familiarity with OH&S regulations and environmental compliance standards.
