Role Description
The Research Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role supports research initiatives by collecting and organizing data, conducting literature reviews, and contributing to experimental or project design under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include performing data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, documenting research procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
The Research
Assistant may also assist with laboratory or technical tasks, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure that research activities follow internal standards and ethical guidelines. Collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis abilities to interpret findings and support evidence-based conclusions.
Candidates should possess solid Research capabilities, including literature review, data collection, and documentation of methodologies.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present results clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should possess applicable Laboratory Skills or hands-on technical skills relevant to AI, data, or operations-focused research.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering, statistics, business, or related disciplines).
Familiarity with basic statistical tools, spreadsheets, or data analysis software; experience with programming or scripting languages is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Ho Chi Minh City, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated curiosity about AI, cloud technologies, and business operations; prior internship or research experience is a plus.
