The Restaurant & Bar Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategic marketing and communications efforts for all dining venues, bars, in-room dining and banqueting/weddings within the resort. The role focuses on enhancing visibility, reputation, and revenue performance across outlets through compelling storytelling, digital engagement, and partnership activations.
With a blend of creativity and commercial acumen, this position drives the positioning of the resort as a leading culinary destination-locally, regionally, and internationally-while ensuring each venue embodies the property's luxury identity and distinctive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to position restaurants, bars, lounges, and events as top-tier dining and social experiences.
- Align each venue's brand story with the overall resort identity and InterContinental standards.
- Translate business objectives into creative, measurable marketing actions that strengthen brand equity and drive guest engagement.
2. Campaigns, Activations & Content Creation
- Plan and execute integrated 360° campaigns-including seasonal offers, new menu launches, collaborations, mixology features, and festive activations.
- In conjunction with relevant team members, oversee creative direction and production of photography, videography, and design assets for use across print, digital, and social channels.
- Collaborate with chefs, mixologists, and F&B managers to highlight culinary artistry and signature experiences.
- Manage the concepting and design of all menus; act as proofreader and approver of all content.
- Ensure consistent tone, storytelling, and visual quality across all content touchpoints.

Digital Marketing & Social Media
- In conjunction with relevant team members, plan social media content across all dining outlets.
- In conjunction with relevant team members, execute paid digital campaigns (search, social) with focus on measurable KPIs such as reach, engagement, and bookings.
- Ensure restaurant and bar listings (websites, TableCheck, Google, TripAdvisor, OTAs etc.) are accurate and optimised.
- Monitor and advise restaurant teams on responding to guest comments, reviews etc.
- Leverage analytics to monitor digital performance and adjust strategies for improved ROI.
4. Public Relations & Partnerships
- Collaborate with beverage partners and luxury brands for co-branded activations and exclusive events.
- Contribute to press materials, stories, and pitches to highlight the resort's F&B leadership and culinary innovation
- Support resort PR efforts with hosted media/influencer visits enhance exposure and brand desirability.
5. Commercial Focus & Market Insights
- Work closely with the F&B Director, Revenue team, and DOSM to align marketing initiatives with business goals and outlet performance.
- Identify and develop promotional initiatives to drive business from Danang, either local residents or visitors
- Analyse campaign results, market trends, guest feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Support menu engineering, demand-driving initiatives, and pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
6. Guest Experience & On-Property Presence
- Develop story-telling and in conjunction with relevant team members, train front-line staff on delivery and conduct regular evaluations/audits.
- Develop, monitor and evolve F&B-related guest activities (i.e. Beach BBQ program, cooking classes, wine tastings etc.)
- Ensure all on-property F&B touchpoints (menus, signage, digital screens, and printed collaterals) reflect brand consistency and design excellence.
- Partner with operations and design teams to elevate storytelling through ambience, music, and visuals that enrich the dining experience.
7. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as primary liaison between Marketing and R&B department
- Collaborate cross-functionally with S&M and Operations teams to maintain seamless alignment.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient project delivery.
