Position Summary
Identifies customer's business needs, develop solutions and proposals to meet those need; implement the defined business strategies to increase sales revenue and achieve sales target set by the company management.
Key Responsibilities / Duties
• Meet or exceed predetermined revenue objectives by cultivating sales growth opportunities with existing and new accounts to extend the marker share.
• Develop long-term relationships with key contacts in assigned accounts and implement account management activities to build customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.
• Implement specific marketing activities and assist senior management in providing principals with valuable market information necessary in the formulation of effective marketing plans to acquire target prospects.
• Be partners with sales and technical support consultants to create best client-focused solutions and ensure effective implementations.
• Keep current with our products release information, including sales materials, product features and competitive information to update new trend of market.
• Through effective negotiation and consultative selling, achieve win-win results with customers that will provide the basis for strong relationships.
• Investigate proactively & regularly update market intelligence relating to assigned product and business area and keep Department Manager informed.
• Plan and forecast necessary inventory level for each product/business situation to ensure efficiency, reliability and optimized inventory level.
• Coordinate and discuss with Suppliers technical & commercial issues to develop business benefiting both parties.
• Coordinate & prepare for supplier visits, seminars, customer appointments by providing customer background and business activity details, highlight and prepare important issues and participate in Supplier visit and business discussions. Liaise with customers and suppliers on follow-up action.
• Prepare annual sales & profit forecast, provide projection to Department Manager for forecast and monitor of business plan.
• Prepare and provide monthly sales activity reports including related market intelligence to Suppliers (where agreed upon) and Department Manager prior to given deadline. Maintain & continually update Company C4C.
• Coordinate with and assist finance/commercial department in case of account receivable and payable problems. Monitor and inform immediately potential uncollectible debts to Department Manager and finance/commercial department for appropriate further action.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistic and related parties to ensure smooth and continuous improvement of order process, delivery services to meet and surpass customer expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Superior.
Functional Role / Secondary Function
• Provide support to other departments within the Company in terms of promoting and selling their products as and when the opportunity arises.
• Represent the company in trade associations related to the industries being served and whenever necessary, in social gatherings involving the same.
• Any special task as assigned by Department Manager.
EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety):
• Comply with all relevant EHS legal and other requirements associated with the job functions and responsibilities.
• Comply with all ISO9001 & EHS requirements affecting the operations, including those affecting the customers, suppliers, contractors.
• Participate in ISO9001 & EHS programs.
• Follow the ISO9001 & EHS procedures and work instructions.
Priorities & Authority
• Priorities (For the next two years): As per annual ePMS; As per group strategic plan.
• Authority: Subject to limit of authority and Group policy MS105, 109; Signatory rights for sales document and contracts as per company matrix authorization; Negotiate with client and customers to get the best selling price for the company.
• Dimensions: As per defined annual budget figure.
• Organisation: Department Manager -> Sales Manager
Yêu cầu
Qualification:
• Good skill of English.
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science or other technical related field.
Experience:
• 5 years solid experience within sales &
business development in relevant field.
• Background from technical products with a documented track record is a must.
• Self-motivated, sales acumen, negotiating skills and can work independently.
• Able to travel to upcountry.
