The Job

• Design, develop, and optimize backend systems and services
• Architect and maintain database solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements
• Implement efficient network communications and API endpoints
• Collaborate with frontend developers, ensuring seamless integration between systems
• Apply strong Computer Science fundamentals to solve complex technical challenges
• Contribute to technical decision-making and architectural discussions
• Take ownership of production issues via JIRA Service Desk, ensuring timely and high-quality resolution
• Perform end-to-end troubleshooting: reproduce issues, debug, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes
• Build automation tools and scripts to reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency
• Contribute to internal tools (e.g., bots, ticket classifiers, monitoring systems) that support daily operations

Your Skills and Experience

Must-have Skills:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend engineering
• Strong expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, etc.)
• Willingness and ability to work with Python in production environments
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, system design, and software architecture
• Proven experience building scalable, production-grade systems
• Strong experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL, query optimization, data modeling)
• Good understanding of API design and networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with modern web architecture
• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication skills

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django)
• Experience with asynchronous processing (Celery, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with distributed systems or large-scale architectures
• Experience in performance tuning and scalability optimization
