50% Database Administration (Core DBA):
Manage, configure, and optimize SQL database (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Ensure database performance, optimization, tuning, and indexing.
Monitor database health and troubleshoot slow queries & performance issues.
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and failover systems.
Ensure high availability, replication, and clustering.
Oversee data security, access control, and compliance (GDPR, internal policies).
Guide junior DBAs, review code/queries, and optimize schemas.
Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
Work closely with DevOps to support CI/CD, cloud deployment, and DB containerization.
25% Analytics & BI:
Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and analytics solutions using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).
Build ETL/ELT pipelines to transform raw data into structured datasets.
Work with business units to define KPIs and create actionable reports.
Analyze business data to support decision-making in areas such as membership sales,
digital marketing, product usage, retention & churn, finance & forecasting.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across sources.
Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations
15% Data Governance & Architecture:
Contribute to enterprise data architecture & data warehouse design.
Define data quality standards and enforce data governance rules.
Maintain documentation: schema diagrams, data dictionaries, ERDs, SOPs.
Ensure integration between systems (CRM, ERP, POS, marketing platforms, apps).

4-7+ years experience in database administration.
Proficiency with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, (optional) Oracle, MongoDB.
Strong command of Query tuning, indexing strategies, stored procedures, database replication, partitioning, backup & recovery strategies.
Experience in data warehousing and ETL pipelines.
Strong analytics skills using Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio.
Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills.
Good command of English and Vietnamese.
Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
Ability to lead data discussions and influence decisions.
