Senior System Admin

Cloud System Management (Non-production):

• Monitor and maintain non-production cloud services, dockerized containers, and databases.
• Monitor application services and server performance through system monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with the CloudOps team to develop and execute a backup and recovery plan

Office Infrastructure Management:

• Monitor and maintain the efficiency of the server room; actively resolve problems and issues with server systems to limit work disruptions within the company.
• Install and configure local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and network segments and servers, such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems; monitor the network systems to detect early threats or prevent errors.
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to monitor access control systems, ensure their efficiency, compliance and security for the office.

Business Operations Systems:

• Deeply understand the IT landscape at Katalon and own the admin role of company-wide tools and cloud-based applications.
• Work closely with business functions to understand their needs, and actively research for ideas, solutions to utilize IT systems to increase operations efficiency.
• Collaborate with System Optimization Engineer on system integration and automation projects.
• Collaborate with functional system admins to constantly monitor the performance of business applications, and assist IT Manager in system analysis to determine the performance gaps.

License Management:

• Maintain the license availability of software assets and manage/monitor the distribution of licenses across the company.
• Assist IT Manager in evaluating license requests from users.
• Build a solid workflow to manage license provision and revocation, and build a periodic report or live dashboard to provide visibility to the Management team.
• Support business functions in working with vendors for new purchases, upgrade, downgrade or replacement of applications if requested.

Other tasks and projects assigned by the IT Manager.

• Minimum 03 years of experience as a System Admin or similar roles.
• Tech-savvy, keen on technology and desire to leverage IT systems in sustainable business growth.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and good at communication both oral and written, in English and Vietnamese.
• Can do attitude, growth mindset, and be creative in solution approaches.
• Experienced with G-Suite, Microsoft 365 products, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Datadog, Lacework, and other cloud management tools.
• Experience in Virtualisation (VMWare), server, and network virtualization.
• Familiar with remote application support i.e., Citrix, RSA Tokens, and SSL VPN
• Good knowledge and troubleshooting skills (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS) (Fortinet, Cisco) and Wifi technologies.
• Familiar with SaaS business operations systems (Salesforce, Recurly, NetSuite, etc.) is a big plus.
• Experienced with various security standards, especially ISO 27001, SOC2. etc. is a competitive advantage.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Azure Administrator certifications, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or equivalent industry certification are preferred.
