Social Media Manager

Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, creative and commercially minded Social Media & Content Manager to take ownership of AMG Health Professionals' day-to-day content and social media, build our presence across digital channels and help us communicate our value to healthcare professionals, referral partners and the wider professional community.
You will turn our activities, expertise, events and partnerships into credible, useful and engaging content, while understanding our vision and business objectives. The goal is to build the brand, attract clients, strengthen trust and create meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and referral partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain AMG Health Professionals' weekly and monthly content calendar via LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
Turn raw ideas, videos, photos, events and industry activities into polished content
Create and publish engaging social media content across Reels, short-form videos, graphics, carousels, captions and other creative formats.
Schedule approved content through Meta Business Suite
Research relevant healthcare, finance and industry topics to identify content opportunities
Repurpose events, conferences, partnerships and existing activities into multiple content pieces
Monitor engagement and content performance and provide simple monthly insights
Identify opportunities to strengthen AMG Health Professionals' relationships with clients, healthcare professionals and referral partners
What We're Looking For
Strong written English and attention to detail
Good understanding of brand, audience and business objectives
Strong creative and visual judgement
Confidence to suggest ideas and take ownership
Good communication and follow-up skills
Curiosity and willingness to learn about Australian healthcare and finance
The ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
Skills & Experience
LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook (Meta Business Suite)
Canva, CapCut or similar video editing tools
Reels and short-form video
Content planning, scheduling and repurposing
Copywriting, captions and social media hooks
Content research and basic social media analytics
AI tools for research and content development
Experience in healthcare, finance, professional services or other regulated industries is a plus, but not essential.
