System Engineer (English Communication Required)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a System Engineer at Ctel's ITO Department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including physical/virtual VM servers, SAN storages, operating systems, and databases. Take responsibility for IT infrastructure design and implementation of IT projects following company standards:
Perform server administration tasks together with the Group IPS (GIPS) team such as capacity monitoring, security patching, obsolescence management, etc.
Research and provide event-log warnings and errors to GIPS when required to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Work with relevant parties and provide/implement IT infrastructure/architecture in IT projects.
Work with local vendors to troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues.
Follow up with the relevant team and provide updates/reports for IT infrastructure-related matters.
Coordinate and provide support for firewall and network systems.
Determine, enforce, and document server and database policies, procedures, and standards.
Work with data architects and other IT specialists to set up, maintain, and monitor data networks.
