Technical Documentation Engineer

1. Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate with Mechanical Engineering or related background to support our engineering and quality management processes. This role will play a critical part in ensuring efficient part builds, clarifications, and inspection template preparation to streamline operations between our teams in global.
2. Roles and Responsibilities
As a Technical Documentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks to support our engineering and quality management operations:
- Part Builds & Engineering Support:
-Build parts in ERP system to support internal and external engineering requirements.
-Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software for product development.
-Categorize items in e-commerce site, ensuring proper classification and accurate product details.
-Support various internal engineering activities as needed.
- Quality Management & Documentation:
-Handle PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
-Create and update inspection templates to facilitate efficient quality control processes.
-Assist with other internal quality activities, including documentation and process improvements.
- Cross-Team Collaboration & Process Improvement:
-Work closely with the Mexico Engineering team to improve workflow efficiency and reduce delays in part builds and documentation
-Support to release and manage documentation for new set-up warehouse
-New project: Cooperate with cross-functional teams to publish an official database of international compliance, customs, and HTS codes.
