We are seeking a proactive and experienced Transport / Trucking Manager to lead the development and implementation of our transport operations. This is a unique opportunity to build a transport function from the ground up, ensuring efficient and effective logistics processes that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and establish the transport / Trucking function, including policies, procedures, and workflows. (Samsung SDS doesn't have trucking part or group for contract logistics operation).
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with transport providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to negotiate rates and ensure service quality.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve operational efficiency.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints related to transportation services.
• Leverage transportation management software and other technologies to improve operational efficiency.
Yêu cầu
• Min 10 years of experience of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transportation management or logistics, preferably in the trucking/ Transport industry, experience in building a strong Trucking / Transport Part (Group)
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in English skills
