Data Analyst Manager is responsible for leading the data analytics function, transforming business data into actionable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role defines reporting standards, and partners with business leaders to identify opportunities for performance improvement and business growth.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical expertise, stakeholder management, business acumen, and leadership capabilities to deliver impactful analytics solutions that support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analytics Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's data analytics strategy.
- Establish analytics standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Drive a data-driven culture across business functions.
- Align analytics initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
2. Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate and meaningful business insights.
- Standardize KPI definitions and reporting frameworks across departments.
- Develop executive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor business performance and identify key trends and opportunities.
3. Data Analysis & Insights Generation
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations.
- Perform root cause analysis for business performance issues.
- Develop predictive and descriptive analytics models where applicable.
- Support strategic planning with data-driven insights.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders to understand analytics requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor on data interpretation and decision-making.
- Facilitate regular business reviews and performance discussions.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
5. Data Governance & Quality
- Establish data quality standards and validation processes.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to improve data reliability.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of enterprise reporting.
- Promote data governance policies and compliance requirements.
- Support master data and data management initiatives.
6. Analytics Operations & Process Improvement
- Manage analytics project portfolios and resource allocation.
- Improve reporting automation and analytics efficiency.
- Develop scalable reporting and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Define and monitor analytics service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify opportunities to optimize analytics processes and tools.
7. Advanced Analytics & Innovation
- Support machine learning and predictive analytics initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging analytics technologies and platforms.
- Drive innovation in reporting, visualization, and insight generation.
- Promote adoption of AI-powered analytics solutions.
- Support digital transformation and business intelligence modernization efforts.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in: Data Analytics, Math, Computer Science, Information Systems....
- Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
- Experience managing analytics projects.
- Proven track record of delivering business insights that influence strategic decisions.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
