Role Overview
The
Business Development Manager drives the execution in identifying opportunities and converting leads into projects especially in hotels & resorts, real estate developments, F&B.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
A. Pipeline Development & Client Acquisition
• Create opportunity pipelines with decision makers for each targeted sector:
developers, hotel operators, PMCs, F&B groups, constructors, airports.
• Market focus: Vietnam, Southest Asis, and other overseas markets (depending each development period)
• Monitor business performance metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
• Execute outreach campaigns, cold/warm engagement, and follow-up sequences.
• Manage CRM: data accuracy, deal stages, lead scoring, and forecasts.
• Represent the firm at exhibitions, hospitality/aviation conferences, and industry networking opportunities.
B. Client Relationship Building
• Establish contact and and maintain relationships on a regular basis with targeted prospects/clients.
• Negotiate collaboration frameworks or MOUs where relevant.
• Manage key clients with structured engagement plans.
• Conduct post-project feedback sessions and develop retention/improvement strategies.
• Activate re-engagement programs with past clients and dormant leads.
C. Marketing Execution Oversight
• Convert BD strategy into targeted marketing campaigns and content plans.
• Oversee development of case studies, portfolio updates, brochures, videos, and capability decks.
• Liaise with creatives (copywriters,
designers, agencies) as needed.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
D. Internal Strategy Governance
• Align BD plans with company's strategy, operational capacity and design team availability.
• Map and monitor key players, market research, trend tracking (hospitality, aviation, F&B, development pipelines), and competitive positioning
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly BD performance reports.
• Identify risks & opportunities early and advise leadership.
• Provide strategic insights on high-potential markets
• Facilitate internal communication between BD, design directors, and leadership.
• Manage BD SOP handbook
E. Adhoc BD (not regular, 10-15% of time): Trading industrial products or commodities
• Connect existing partners overseas with suppliers/buyers/distributors in Vietnam
• Facilitate communication between parties.
• Prepare wrap-up reports.
• From 8 years of BD experience in architecture, interior design, real-estate development, hospitality, hotel operators, PMs, or related fields.
• Strong network or abiliti to build network in real estates, hospitality and F&B industries.
• Understanding of project cycles, design workflow
• Enjoy communicating, sensing opportunities hidden in conversations
• Curiosity about what's happening in the country, in the industry
• Ability to link data, even seemingly unrelated data
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, ROI and negotiation skills.
• Ability to take initiative, and manage multiple opportunities.
• Fluency in English & Vietnamese verbal and writing communication, especially to high-end clientele
• Optimist, persistent through rejection, keeping momentums despite slow periods

Starting date: ASAP or negotiable to be after Tet 2026.
