Mô tả công việc
As a member of our legal advisory team, you will be responsible for - inter alia - the following tasks:
• Advising clients on ongoing legal issues of their business at the highest level of quality, commitment and effectiveness
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents (memos, advice, legal opinions and due-diligence reports), contracts and other agreements, licensing application files (e.g., application files, business licenses, etc.);
• Building, maintaining, and leveraging existing relationships, with the law firm's stakeholders, client portfolio, and local administrative authorities;
• Independently handling client matters (attending meetings and communicating directly with clients, suppliers, and other parties) across multiple areas of business (manufacturing, labour, real estate, technology, R&D, renewable energies, infrastructure, retail/FMCG, etc.);
• Carrying out in-depth legal research and staying abreast of current legal developments, regulations, and laws;
• Contributing to the firms marketing/BD workstreams (e.g., drafting newsletters, legal updates and articles on legal issues; preparing materials for events, etc.);
• Leading and supervising junior team members during the implementation of advisory/project work and training other lawyers in practical and theoretical aspects of transactional and advisory work;

• Graduate from a renowned Vietnamese university; foreign education/work experience outside of Vietnam will be considered a plus;
• 3-8 years of post-qualification work experience (PQE) preferably gained in an international working environment (international law firm experience is preferred);
• Demonstrated experience in complex legal (cross-border) matters, and a proven track-record of supporting complex FDI matters in Vietnam;
• Exceptional skills in both Vietnamese and English (speaking and writing); additional proficiency in other foreign languages will be considered a plus;
• Professionalism, confidence, dedication, integrity, and trustworthiness;
• Ability work well under pressure and to deliver timely results in urgent situations;
• Advanced critical and legal reasoning skills, excellent research and drafting skills; strong organizational and communication skills;
• Keen attention to detail, excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making;
• Experience in working independently and professionally with authorities and clients;
• Remarkable team spirit, ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment to effectively coordinate between team leaders and other colleagues while providing advice to clients;
