JOB DESCRIPTION
Qlay Technologies, Inc. is a global technology solutions provider with offices in San Francisco and Tokyo. We are currently seeking a Fresher Business Analyst (QA/QC Focus) to join our team - an AI-based startup.

You will gain valuable hands-on experience working with our QA/QC and BA teams to develop, ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will assist in testing and validating software, identifying issues, and collaborating with the development team to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for:
Work closely with the Product team to understand product context, decisions, and requirements, then support the preparation and maintenance of BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, and related product documentation.
Review Figma designs with the Product team to check key user flows, edge cases, expected behaviors, and potential requirement gaps.
Create, execute, and document test cases based on requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs.
Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to identify bugs, inconsistencies, usability issues, and gaps between implementation and requirements/designs.
Report bugs clearly, follow up with developers on fixes, and retest resolved issues before UAT.
Prepare testing notes, evidence, and issue summaries to support Product team verification before release.
REQUIREMENTS

Fresh graduate or early-career applicant passionate about BA and QA/QC tasks (degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field would be a plus).
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the BA/QA/QC field.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Language: Business English Proficiency

Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.

This position is compensated on an hourly basis with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role based on performance.
