Crossian is a high-growth technology-driven e-commerce business. Behind our success is our people. Our mission now is to build direct-to-consumer brands and increase customer LTV.
We are seeking a Risks and Financial Services Manager to drive financial excellence within our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with improving financial strategies that contribute to the company's growth and uphold financial integrity. Serving as a strategic partner to key internal stakeholders and executives, you will be a contributing member of the Board of Managers, and report directly to our CEO. You will integrate directly with Crossian's CFO consulting team in the United States. Your leadership of the Risks & Financial Services (RFS) team will be instrumental in implementing innovative financial practices aligned with our core values and business objectives.
This position encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, challenging you to apply a comprehensive set of strategic, leadership, and operational skills. Your role will involve overseeing various financial functions, including but not limited to financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and compliance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Strategic Partnership
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals
Provide a critical review of all financial statements, reports, analysis and projections to ensure a "no-surprise" environment
Transform financial data into strategic insights, guiding operational leaders towards increased profitability through meaningful dialogue and proactive financial planning
2. Operational Management
Finance Operations
Direct the development, implementation and revision of finance & accounting policies, procedures and systems to ensure that all financial and accounting practices are complementary to, and in compliance with, all applicable corporate and regulatory policies and procedures
Direct and review the data collection and preparation of budgets, financial reports, and other documents, business plans and reports, as required by regulatory and/or government agencies
Direct the timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial statements, regulatory reports, analysis, forecast and operating plans
Lead or support any ad-hoc projects and financial analyses as needed, particularly in projects involving variance analysis/reporting and key metric reporting
Respond to underwriting and KYC requests from internal financial systems partners including: PayPal, Stripe, Braintree, Payoneer and Wise
Business Data and Risks Management
Lead and grow current business data team and service offerings
Analyze operational risks and provide actionable insights to our supply chain, product development and customer service teams
Build new and improve current data models to support business operations
Accounting
Direct the timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial statements, regulatory reports, analysis, forecast and operating plans in accordance with local/regional/global reporting standards
Oversee, plan and coordinate, as applicable, internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and account reconciliations. Investigate, and resolve unusual transactions, activities, questions and issues as they arise
Work directly with outside consultants, agencies, bankers, regulators on an assortment of financial and accounting issues
3. Team Leadership
Acquire talents, and provide training and maximize efficient and effective uses of finance & accounting resources
Manage staff PDPs to achieve both personal, professional and corporate goals
Yêu cầu
1. Background
A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
Familiar with local/US GAAP and knowledge & compliance in financial & accounting management and internal control
Possessing an active Chief Accountant Certificate for Vietnam will be considered an asset
2. Experience
10 years of working experience in finance or accounting operations, risk control with 5 years at management level
Experience in vendor and contractor relationships
Experience in driving and implementing process improvement
3. Skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven experience and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset
Proven experience handling and analyzing large volumes of data
Proven experience in prioritizing and managing expectations
Strong communication and articulation skills for team communication and reporting up
Solid ability to prepare and carry out presentations to large and senior audiences
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Fluent in English
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools will be considered assets for the role
