Job summary: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new customers, managing existing client relationships, and expanding sales distribution channels. This role involves leading and supporting sales activities, understanding customer requirements, proposing effective sales strategies, and delivering technical and commercial solutions that meet business objectives. The position requires close coordination with internal teams, regular customer engagement, strong negotiation skills, and consistent reporting to ensure sales targets are achieved and exceeded.
Key responsibilities
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
Travel regularly to visit existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
Establish new customers (dealers, distributors, contractors, etc.) while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
Manage, analyze, and understand customer requirements to provide appropriate solutions.
Develop and propose effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives
Plan and execute sales activities to develop assigned sales territories and penetrate target accounts
Develop and expand sales distribution channels to strengthen market coverage.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, and successfully close sales in line with company policies.
Support customer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
Provide pre-
sales technical support and in-depth product knowledge to customers.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
Offer after-sales support services to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Prepare and analyze sales reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and contact information in the system.
Participate in regular sales meetings to review performance and ensure achievement of sales targets
Bachelor degree in Building Materials/ Business Administration / Marketing or related fields
Priority for those who has experience in Grey Cement at management level with above 2 years
Good understanding of market, consultant and persuasion skill
Good customer service skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong planning and report skill
Comfortable on travelling nationwide
Mature and be able to work independently
