Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager is the number two in the Wink Unscripted by Hyatt marketing function and the primary operational lead for the brand. This role sits directly below the Director of Branding & Marketing and carries significant responsibility for the day-to-day running of the team, the delivery of the marketing plan, and the development of the people within it. Where the Director sets the direction, the Senior Marketing Manager makes it happen.
The role reports directly to the Director of Branding & Marketing and has management responsibility for the HQ marketing team, including the Marketing Manager (Properties), Marketing Manager North,
Project Manager, Content Creator,
Marketing Executives,
Graphic Designer, and Videographer. The Senior Marketing Manager is the first point of escalation for the team and acts as the Director's deputy in their absence. This is a senior, accountable role that requires the confidence to lead, the judgment to prioritize, and the discipline to deliver.

Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, develop, and manage the HQ marketing team - setting clear objectives, reviewing output, running regular one-to-ones, and creating a culture of high performance and accountability
• Act as the primary point of escalation for the team - resolving conflicts, unblocking decisions, and maintaining pace across all active workstreams
• Manage the performance and development of direct reports, identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and building a team capable of growing with the brand
• Step in for the Director of Branding & Marketing when required, representing the function in senior meetings and making decisions within the agreed framework
• Foster a collaborative, high-trust working culture across HQ and property teams - one where the brand standard is understood, shared, and upheld at every level
• Stay current on industry developments, talent benchmarks, and team best practices, feeding relevant insights into how the function is run.
Strategy & Planning
• Work with the Director of Branding & Marketing to develop the annual marketing strategy and budget, translating it into a clear, executable plan across the team
• Own the master marketing plan - maintaining visibility of all workstreams, tracking delivery, and proactively managing risk
• Lead the quarterly and monthly planning cycles, ensuring the team is always working against clear priorities with sufficient lead time
• Build a marketing function that consistently punches above its weight, setting the standard for what good looks like across the industry.
Campaigns & Brand
• Oversee the planning and delivery of brand campaigns across all channels - ensuring creative quality, strategic alignment, and measurable outcomes
• Maintain and evolve the Wink Unscripted by Hyatt brand identity across all touchpoints - working with the creative team to ensure the brand is expressed consistently and compellingly
• Lead the review and approval process for major brand communications, campaigns, and partnerships before they go to the Director
• Manage key external relationships - agencies, media partners, KOLs, and vendors - at the senior level
Reporting & Accountability
• Produce clear, insightful monthly and quarterly performance reports for the Director of Branding & Marketing, covering campaign results, team output, and brand health metrics
• Ensure the team is consistently working to a defined set of KPIs - tracking, reporting, and acting on performance data across all marketing activity
• Support cross-functional collaboration with commercial, F&B, and operations teams - ensuring the marketing function is responsive, aligned, and adding value beyond its own remit
• Liaise with Hyatt at the regional level on brand, commercial, and loyalty matters relevant to the Wink portfolio.
• 7+ years' experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior management or team leadership role
• A track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams in fast-paced, multi-property or multi-brand environments
• Demonstrable experience developing and delivering marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial and brand outcomes
• Deep understanding of the full marketing mix - digital, content, brand, events, PR, and performance
• Strong budget management capability - experienced in planning, tracking, and reporting on significant marketing budgets
• Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred - familiarity with the Hyatt ecosystem an advantage
• Fluency in Vietnamese; strong working English - additional languages a plus
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required; MBA or equivalent an advantage.
