Mô tả công việc
A Purchasing position, or Product Purchasing officer, finds and purchases products for a company to use or to support production. Their duties include locating suppliers, researching goods, services and materials and processing purchasing orders.
Purchasing officer work and negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company they represent. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
Perform other duties as assigned.
Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability and other criteria It is not limited to local, international and US suppliers
Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records and inventories in SAP system
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
Verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list and recommending alternatives for expensive or irrelevant products
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Evaluating vendors and visiting suppliers' facilities to learn about products, services and pricing- if any
Yêu cầu
- Must be able to multitask and process information at a very detailed level.
- Experience in machining machinery, Computer(ized) Numerical(ly) Control(led)-CNC preferable.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in both languages Vietnamese and English.
- Trust, honesty and credibility are the must characteristic.
- Self-motivated and able to take the initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently.
- Strong PC skills, especially with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP database software preferred.
