KDDI Vietnam is the Vietnam branch of KDDI, the second largest telecommunications company in Japan, and aims to contribute to industrial development in Vietnam through the development of telecommunications and IT infrastructure for private companies and support for public projects.
KDDI Vietnam has more than 20 years of business history in Vietnam and has extensive experience in supporting Japanese companies mainly in the industrial sector.
Most of our clients are Japanese companies, but we also have clients from Korea and other nationalities, Vietnamese domestic companies, and the government. And we have branch offices in various countries in Southeast Asia, and we utilize these networks to support our clients' global expansion.
Role Overview
We are also seeking a Senior Network/ Server Engineer who is a maintenance professional and has the potential to become a Maintenance Team Leader in the future.
This role requires deep understanding of IT maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to educate, guide, and lead team members, while ensuring high-quality customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced IT Maintenance & Customer Success
• Take responsibility for stable operation of complex customer IT environments
• Handle high-level incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Act as a key technical contact for customers during operations
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security
Supported Technologies
• Network & Security (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless)
• Microsoft Server platforms, Microsoft 365, Azure
• Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Backup and storage solutions
• Endpoint and physical IT infrastructure
Team Development & Leadership
• Mentor and train junior maintenance engineers
• Review incident handling and maintenance quality
• Improve maintenance procedures, standards, and documentation
• Coordinate maintenance tasks within the team
• Gradually take responsibility for team management and quality control
Yêu cầu
• At least 5 years of experience in IT, with strong focus on IT maintenance and operations
• Solid understanding of:
o Routing & Switching, Wireless, Voice
o SAN / Storage Systems
o Active Directory, Exchange
o Microsoft 365, Azure
o Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware
• Experience with products such as:
o Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto
o HP, DELL-EMC, IBM, Nutanix
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to guide, educate, and support team members
• Clear understanding of the importance and professionalism of Maintenance work
• Good English communication skills
• IT certifications are a strong advantage
• Reliable, proactive, and leadership-oriented mindset
• Age: 25-40 years old (flexible depending on experience)
• Japanese language skill is preferable (Good to have)
