1. Key Role
Ensure high-quality trucking services that consistently exceed the expectations of customers and the Sales team.
Ensure effective communication and close coordination with the Sales team, customers, trucking vendors, and relevant internal departments to achieve optimal operational efficiency.
2. Job Description
- Receiving and handling transportation requests:
Receive shipment information from Sales/customers; check rates, negotiate with trucking vendors to obtain the most competitive pricing, and provide timely feedback.
Arrange transportation plans and send dispatch schedules (pick-up/delivery) to trucking vendors according to customer requirements.
- Monitoring and dispatching:
Regularly update vehicle status and shipment delivery progress; promptly notify cargo owners of any incidents and proactively coordinate with Sales and customers to resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring service quality and on-time delivery via communication channels such as Zalo, phone calls, etc.
For import shipments, closely monitor cargo pick-up schedules and update the warehouse on estimated arrival times so that manpower can be arranged accordingly.
Ensure customer requirements are met according to standards, such as selecting clean and well-conditioned empty containers, requesting trucks to back into unloading docks, and other specific requirements.
Continuously update shipment information to ensure full control of the transportation process and immediate response when customers request status updates.
- Trucking vendor management and service evaluation:
Conduct monthly evaluations of trucking vendors in terms of costs, service quality, and performance.
Propose improvements or identify alternative trucking vendors to optimize costs and continuously enhance customer service quality.
- Payment processing and system operations:
Regularly collect statements and reimbursable invoices, input data into the system, and process payments for trucking vendors.
Coordinate with shipping lines to resolve issues related to container deposits upon empty container returns.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
3. Job Requirements
- Education: College or university degree in Import-Export, Logistics, International Payment, or related fields.
- Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position; preference for candidates with experience in logistics or forwarding companies.
Experience in reading and understanding logistics documents such as bookings and customs declarations to ensure proper container drop-off at the correct port of loading.

Work time
- Monday to Friday: Morning: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM.
- Saturday: Working in the morning 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with 2 Saturdays off per month.
