Job Overview & Responsibilities
Own the Vietnam market launch end-to-end, covering go-to-market strategy, product setup, market research, hiring, operations, and local P&L - with full ownership as the primary/solo operator on the ground.
Drive user growth independently across paid acquisition, referrals, influencers, organic, and community-led channels, taking ownership of both strategy and hands-on execution.
Develop and localize marketing campaigns end-to-end, including creative concepts, messaging, copy, and content for the Vietnamese market, without relying on a dedicated local marketing team.
Conduct continuous user research independently to identify local needs and translate insights directly into product improvements and actionable initiatives.
Build and manage local operations from the ground up, including customer support, banking/payment partnerships, and day-to-day operational processes.
Analyze business and user data hands-on using SQL, dashboards, and other basic technical tools, working directly with Product and Engineering teams when needed.
Own product localization end-to-end, including onboarding, pricing, content, and local payment methods, coordinating with HQ teams while driving the local execution independently.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in tech operations, ideally within fintech, payments, marketplaces, delivery, or similar businesses, with a strong track record of independent ownership and execution.
Proven experience personally driving user growth, including acquisition channels, conversion funnels, experimentation, and measurable results.
Hands-on experience with product development, including roadmaps, product specifications, and collaboration with Engineering and Design - with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives independently.
Strong data skills with the ability to independently use SQL, dashboards, and basic technical tools to investigate problems, analyze performance, and make decisions.
Comfortable using AI tools extensively for research, analysis, content creation, automation, and day-to-day work, especially when operating without dedicated functional support.
Highly independent and hands-on, with the ability to operate as a one-person team and wear multiple hats across growth, marketing, product, operations, and analytics.
Fluent in English.
