Technical Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Representative (TSR) to deliver professional field technical support for PPG's Marine and Protective Coatings business. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the correct application of PPG products, maintaining quality standards, and strengthening customer satisfaction and loyalty
Role Purpose
The TSR provides on site technical advice, supports applicators and contractors, and ensures compliance with specified standards of surface preparation and paint application. The role also serves as the key liaison among all stakeholders on site, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
Key Responsibilities
• Provide on-site technical guidance to contractors and applicators to help them achieve the required standards for surface pretreatment and application of PPG products and systems.
• Monitor, document, and report the actual conditions and application practices observed on site to confirm whether they meet specified requirements.
• Record and escalate non compliance, including misuse or substandard application of PPG products, and formally notify customers to safeguard company interests and prevent potential claims.
• Act as the primary mediator between parties involved on site, ensuring clear communication and helping resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Deliver field feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance PPG's technical image and reputation in the Marine & Protective Coatings industries.
• Provide technical support to both external customers and internal departments as part of our service commitments and added value offerings.
